The second volume of the book "Iran in the Nasserid Era," which is the travelogue of the renowned Swedish orientalist  in 1890, Sven Hedin, translated by Vahid Saberi Moghadam, has been released in the market by Peyam-e Azadi Publications in Tehran. It consists of 46 chapters. Hedin's second travelogue focuses on the special delegation sent by King Oscar II to Iran, carrying the Sarafim medal or the Medal of Honor from the Swedish royal court to Naser al-Din Shah. It should be noted that the Shah of Iran had previously sent a Homayouni statue medal to King Oscar. The Swedish delegation, led by Hedin, included three other senior officials from Sweden, namely the Chief of the Royal Hunting Unit, the Minister of the Royal Court, and a Lieutenant Colonel from the Swedish Army's Search and Rescue Corps. The book describes their journey and provides a detailed analysis of the social, political, military, and cultural conditions of Iran during that period.

One unique aspect of the book is its examination of the power struggle between Russia and England in the Iranian court and the country's political scene. The book also introduces Sweden's past ambassadors to the Iranian court. It has been translated into Persian , and a version of it has been presented to the Hedin Foundation in Stockholm.
