بیانیه صادره در خصوص لغو عضویت جمهوری اسلامی ایران از کمیسیون مقام زن

متن بیانیه مطبوعاتی صادره توسط سفارت جمهوری اسلامی ایران در استکهلم در خصوص لغو عضویت کشورمان از کمیسیون مقام زن سازمان ملل متحد به شرح ذیل می‌باشد:

In the Name of God

Continuous and unprecedented violation of international rules by the United States

 

Since 2011 Iran has been a member of CSW and last year Iran's membership was extended because the majority of ECOSOC countries wanted to hear an alternative voice about the status of women. This voice was about human capital and all the measures that it stands for, in which the statistics shows the endeavor that the Islamic Republic of Iran went through to increase the status of its fellow country women especially the disenfranchised and marginalized women from the lower classes of the society while standing US sanctions and its other hostile policies.

Iran's removal from CSW shows how much the US is intolerant of non-American conceptual frameworks. It also shows how much European countries are reluctant about their reins being in US hands. The colonialist identity still hiding in the depth of their subconscious has made them accompany the US and its oppressive policies. They claim it was a symbolic act to show their support to Iranian women but in fact, it was an illegal act by which they wanted to show their subordination to US statesmen.

The US request for removal of Iran was entirely illegal and the council members were fully aware that there was no precedent in the council's practice of terminating an elected member's participation in a functional commission for any alleged reason, nor were it supported by the council's rule of procedures. Seemingly the capacity of current international procedures doesn't satisfy US' political thirst and this notorious global bully becomes more addicted to its disobedience of international order day by day which is a symptom traceable in all of the falling empires in history.

Undermining the rule of law and the system of integrity in the UN is dangerous. It puts the notion of sovereign equality of the states under question. The world is watching how the so called "west" tries enforcing an international hierarchy even though the rest of the world knows the US exceptionalism is nothing more than an illusion today and the "Jungle vs. Garden theory" will bring nothing more than disgust and hatred for Europe.  

The world is watching this so called "west" and sees how they misuse and abuse valued concepts such as human rights in order to achieve political goals; how they enforce sanctions on independent countries to halt their progress; how they assassinate their official military commanders and how they try to prevent them from joining an international body or to expel them from such bodies. Now the question is whether this "west" is unaware of the backfire such policies will have or they changed their political system into idiocracy; a sign of which is that they have crowded their corridors of power with Iranian political losers whose job is to bluff and get paid.

Iranian women are educated, empowered and capable of dynamically making a better and better society and accordingly the deceitful act of removing Iran from CSW will not stop Iranian women's progress nor will weaken the Islamic republic of Iran's will to support them.
